Word around the internet about Survive:
A World On Fire - A Zombie Blog recently held a Giveaway offering a SIGNED COPY of SURVIVE as the October Giveaway!
Dude, freakin GREAT job! I have read everything form DBDA to WWZ and most of the drivel online, but that was zedtastic. A. You have a great style, and awesome interjecting of humor and tragedy. B. Very believable cast of charachters, awesome job drawing on your "clan" and their manerisms to round out dialog, etc. I am very impressed, and definately want to read more. Do you have anything else written? If so, hook a brother up. WWJD indeed. Kudos.

Thanks, Rob!
I just recieved your book today & I couldn't put it down.I finished it barely 3 hrs. later.I find most zombie books silly, but I read them anyway.Gotta love zombies : ) Your book on the other hand, was amazing. From the deadpan humour to the sad fates of characters you came to care for, I just wanted to say great job & I can't wait for the next one! Sincerely, Kelly C.
From the Amazon Kindle listing:
Nice novel about the zombie apocalypse. It spans years in time, so you can see how the survivors cope from the day of outbreak through building a new enclave/society. Pacing was even and there are good fight scenes, lots of specifics about the guns and tactical methods. Characters are well written and you will get invested in them. This book needs to get tagged for searches under "zombie" though, I found it by accident on someone's listmania. I really enjoyed it. -C. Harris, Florida.
Best zombie book i have ever read, and i read a lot of them.needs to get tagged under zombie though.i found it on accident. -A. Customer, Unknown
Thanks for the great reviews. I have now fixed it to be tagged under zombie. (I thought it was but turns out capitalization matters. Go figure.)
And also from the same Kindle reviews:
This is the story of an ex-cop turned private investigator during a zombie apocalypse. The main characters are named John and Sara and they make their way up to Vermont during the beginning of a plague that begins in Mexico and Texas. John has been in a secret anti-government organization that is alluded to. He is a zombie expert and becomes the leader of his group of survivors which include all of his family. I mostly liked this book. The characters did not seem real to me. Their conversations and their actions seemed fake. There were many cliches of how people would be. I didn't believe some of it. The people and situations were like many books that I have read before. Some of the conversations took me out of the book and I could not get into it. -C. Brunner, Texas
Well, thanks! I actually AM an ex-cop turned private investigator. And actually, most of the characters are written based on very real people. Thanks for the critique, though.
Waiting on Wednesday - 15 - Check it out, there is a secret coupon code there for a little bit off the cover price
